Smoother and Healthier Lips With Evolution of Smooth Lip Balms

Evolution of Smooth (EOS) is a $250 million company that sells over a million lip balms a week in many delicious tasting flavors, leaving lips healthy and smooth. Evolution of Smooth produces lip balms in different flavors anywhere from blueberry, passionate fruit and coconut milk to grapefruit and honeydew. The success of EOS for the last seven years is attributed to entrepreneur Sanjiv Mehra, EOS co-founder and managing partner, and entrepreneur Jonathan Teller whose interests had been enhancing more beauty products in drugstores. So, together with entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky, Mehra and Teller conducted research and found that lip balm is an everyday commodity, the same way that toothpaste and shampoo are commodities used on a daily basis, and used and sold to both females and males.

In a consumer research, Mehra, Teller, and Dubitsky found that more women than men use lip balm in their daily routines to nourish and smooth lips. “The products that women depend on every day should deliver moments of delight that elevate these daily routines,” Mehra says to Elizabeth Segran of Fast Company.com.

Eventually, Dubitsky adventured out to manage other oral care products, such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, before EOS introduced lip balm products to the consumers. EOS lip balm invested their own funds and start-up capital to develop, market, and distribute innovative lip balm products tailored for women in stores like Walgreens, Ulta, Walmart, and Target. “We were trying to make the product as imaginatively as possible and not create an incremental variant over what was already in market,” says Teller to Segran from Fast Company.com.

With EOS lip balms, hand lotion, and shaving cream products, the company plans to meet the projected demands for natural and organic products in the global lip care market to increase to $2 billion by 2020, say Kline Research to Segran.

Choosing a Competent Lawyer in Brazil

There are several steps involves in locating a good or reliable law firm or lawyer for any issue you may be dealing with. You may start by consulting reliable online resources, like attorney directories or getting in touch with the local Bar Association.

You may also want to find out if your friends, relatives or colleagues have any knowledge of where to get a reliable lawyer for the type of case you are facing.

Meet your potential attorney to learn about his or her qualifications and experience in the filed. A lot of lawyers offer cost-free assessment, giving you the chance to present your inquiries as well as discuss your case in detail. Finding out whether the law firm or lawyer you are considering choosing has the expertise as well as experience is absolutely essential. If the case is for a criminal offense, as an example, this may involve having a good understanding of criminal law in Brazil and also criminal court systems.

During the consultation you could ask your attorney about the number of years he has actually been protecting or representing clients in situations just like yours. Make sure you find out about the attorney’s success rate. Some lawyers will allow you to contact their previous clients for more information regarding their reputation and other issues you’re concerned about. Once you have obtained all the information you need about the lawyer you’re considering, it’s time to make your decision.

Bruce Levenson and AHBE Lead Lawsuit Against Insurance Company

Recently, a lawsuit has been filed by the Atlanta Hawks Basketball and Entertainment LLC against New Hampshire Insurance Company for breach of contract. This contract involves the settlement of claims made by Danny Ferry, the former general manager.

The AHBE, the former ownership group, includes Bruce Levenson, the controlling partner. This lawsuit does not involve any of the current ownership group members or associates. In April 2015 as reported by Forbes.com, Bruce Levenson, alongside AHBE, sold the Atlanta Hawks to Tony Ressler, co-founder of Ares Management LP. Tony Ressler won the bid with $730 million.

The lawsuit against the insurance company also known as AIG, is a civil action. AHBE claims that had an insurance policy for that covered certain losses related to practices like wrongful termination. They claim that AHBE gave AIG notice of certain claims that should have been covered.

The lawsuit states that these claims meet the terms of the policy and that AIG refused to acknowledge the claims and enact AHBE’s policy. The breach of contract occurred when AIG refused to pay covered losses in settlements.

AHBE is not only suing for their rightful claim to covered losses, but is also looking for an extra 50 percent penalty of the fees and costs associated with those unpaid claims.

Bruce Levenson, former controlling partner of the AHBE, is the co-founder of United Communications Group. He founded UCG in 1977. Prior to his work at UCG, he wrote for Observer Publishing and the Washington Star. He is the director of TechTarget, Inc. and has also served on the board of directors of the Newsletter and Electronic Publishers Association.

Bruce Levenson graduated from Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art. He is formerly the President of the “I Have a Dream Foundation” and is involved in many other philanthropic actions.
